Rules for a harmonious combination of colored embroidery threads:
It is impossible to mix diametrically opposite colors on the color circle of the thread. For example, if you tune together the red and green, or yellow and blue, you get a lot of variation. For a harmonious combination of these, you need to add transitional tones
It is not recommended to mix threads of different lightness and different saturation. If you stitch along a dark red pink or a dark green light green, you will also find a lot of variety. Between these tones must be transitional tones
Try mixing the colors of the thread, located next to the color wheel. For example, if you stitch along the threads of red in dark orange or yellow yellow-green or dark purple purple, you will get new harmonious colors.
If you mix threads with colors of the same saturation (brightness) and lightness, you will also get harmonious colors. For example, if you tune pale blue strings with pale lilac or pale yellow pale pink, you will get new tones
