Small tips if you using embroidery on knitwear items: 

Remember if you pull a knitwear fabric (item) tight in the embroidery hoop, when you remove the hoop your knitted fabric will try to spring back into its original place, and your garment will look puckered. Do not pull a knit. Keep it loose.

If using the adhesive spray (probably Sulky or Floriani), do it so sparingly and in a well ventilated area. Do not use the spray where the machine embroidery design will be.
